Many New Hampshire Democrats Don’t Know Who To Support In The Presidential Primary
November 15, 2023
Since President Joe Biden will not be on the New Hampshire primary ballot, nearly half of New Hampshire Democrats are not sure whom they should support.
An Emerson College poll released this week found that 44 percent of Democratic primary voters are undecided. Meanwhile, 27 percent plan to write in President Biden, which makes him the highest-polling candidate; just 15 percent say they plan to write in U.S. Representative Dean Philips (D-Minnesota), while 10 percent want to write in spiritual psychotherapist Marianne Williamson. Both are on the ballot.
“As Biden is not officially on the ballot in New Hampshire, Democratic Primary voters appear to be confused on which candidate to support and how to vote for them,” Emerson College Polling executive director Spencer Kimball said in a press release.
