Many People Still Interested In Visting Cape Cod This Summer Despite Coronavirus Pandemic

Coronavirus might not stop most people from going to Cape Cod after all.

A recent survey from Mass511 polled potential visitors to the Cape from the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce database. It found that 67 percent of participants said they would visit Cape Cod this summer. Plus, 61 said they would in the fall, according to MassLive.com.

Of those interested in visiting the Cape, 80 percent said they would stay for more than two nights.

Public health officials on Cape Cod have told the community that the summer tourism season will not be as strong as it has been in previous years, but that they still expect visitors as coronavirus cases subside, according to MassLive.com.
