Massachusetts Governor Says Pro Sports Teams Can Resume Practicing Next Week

Pro sports took one step closer to returning in Massachusetts on Friday.

Governor Charlie Baker announced that the state will allow pro sports teams in the state to resume practicing at their respective facilities on Saturday, June 6. However, he noted that it must be in accordance with the rules in place for each pro sports league.

Additionally, the Associated Press notes that returning to practice will have to be done in accordance with town and local governments. In the case of the Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox, that would mean Boston. And for the Patriots and Revolution, that means Foxborough.
