Massachusetts One of The Most Vaccinated States For Coronavirus

September 14, 2021

Massachusetts is one of the most vaccinated states in the country.

It’s one of just three states where at least two-thirds of the population is vaccinated against coronavirus, data from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows, according to WHDH. The other two states in that category are both New England states:  Connecticut and Vermont.

As of Monday, September 13, 66.9 percent of Bay Staters were fully vaccinated for coronavirus. The number for Connecticut on the same date was 67.2 percent. In Vermont, it was even higher, at 68.7 percent. These figures are all higher than the total for the entire United States; 54.5 percent of Americans were fully vaccinated overall as of Monday, September 13.
