Massachusetts Takes Four States Off Coronavirus Travel Restriction List

Restrictions to enter Massachusetts are now looser for people coming from a few states.

Massachusetts residents returning home from Colorado, Delaware, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania as well as visitors from those respective states are now exempt from the governor’s two-week quarantine period. Previously, that only would have been the case if the visitor could have provided a negative coronavirus test within 72 hours of coming to the state, as MassLive reports.

The Bay State exempts people from the quarantine if they are coming from states where the positive test rate is less than 6.0 per 100,000 people and the positive rest is below 5 percent over a seven-day span.
