Massachusetts Travel Restrictions Placed On Maine, New Hampshire Amid Pandemic

November 24, 2020

Want to host people from out of state for Thanksgiving this year? Your options of doing so legally could be quite limited.

Over the weekend, Massachusetts added Maine and New Hampshire to its list of travel-restricted states, according to Mass.gov. That means that people coming from either of those two states — whether they live here or not — must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival or produce a negative coronavirus test within 72 hours of arriving.

That means four of the other five New England states are now in that category. The only exception to the rule is Vermont. Additionally, Hawaii is also in that lower-risk category.
