Maura Healey Endorses Andrea Campbell

August 2, 2022

Former Boston city councilor Andrea Campbell got a new endorsement this week in her run for Massachusetts attorney general.

Current attorney general Maura Healey, the Democratic candidate for governor, said that she plans to vote for Campbell in the September primary.

Healey told GBH News that Campbell brings “the combination of judgment, skill, compassion, empathy — and really will center the work, as I’ve tried to do, on the people of this state.”

Campbell is one of three Democrats seeking the party’s nomination for attorney general. The other two are Brookline labor attorney Shannon Liss-Riordan, and Quentin Palfrey, the Democratic Party’s nominee for lieutenant governor in 2018.
