Migrant Crisis The Top Issue For Massachusetts Residents, Poll Says

April 10, 2024

The migrant crisis is the top issue for Massachusetts residents, a newly released poll says.

A poll conducted by Commonwealth Beacon and GBH News that was released this week found that 21 percent of Bay Staters think that migrants/immigration is the biggest issue in Massachusetts politics right now.

Additionally, 15 percent said housing, 12 percent said inflation/cost of living, and 12 percent said taxes/government spendng/and welfare. All of the other issues polled in the single digits.

The poll conducted by the two left-of-center media outlets did not delve into Bay Staters’ public opinion of the state’s ongoing migrant crisis.
