Mitt Romney Says Mike Pence Winked At ‘Ungodly’ Things During Trump Administration

Former Massachusetts governor and current U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) is no fan of former vice president and Republican presidential hopeful Mike Pence.

Romney, who recently announced that he isn’t running for re-election, told his biographer that there was no one “more loyal, more willing to smile when he saw absurdities, more willing to ascribe God’s will to things that were ungodly than Mike Pence.”

Pence said Romney is misinformed.

“Look, Mitt Romney has no idea what I was doing in the administration,” Pence told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “I haven’t talked to Mitt Romney for years. I think he can go off into retirement.”
