Mitt Romney Says No To Joining A Potential Biden Administration

November 11, 2020

Former Massachusetts governor and current Utah Senator Mitt Romney waived away the idea of serving in a potential Joe Biden presidential administration.

The Republican who supported removing President Donald Trump from office during impeachment and did not vote for him in 2016 or 2020 recently told reporters he wants to keep his current position.

“The answer is no I have not been approached, nor will I be approached, and I’m not going to be part of the Biden administration,” Romney said, according to The Hill.

“I’ll be serving this term and who knows maybe even another one representing our great state,”  he added.

Romney served as governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007, ran for president unsuccessfully twice in 2008 and 2012, and then ran for U.S. Senate in Utah in 2018.
