New Hampshire Attorney General Involved With Biden Vaccine Mandate Lawsuit

September 17, 2021

How many New England state attorneys general will sue President Joe Biden’s administration over its recent vaccination mandate?

Of the 24 state attorneys general who have threatened to sue, New Hampshire is the only New England state so far in on the action.

The Biden administration says that companies that employ 100 or more people must mandate that their employees get fully vaccinated against coronavirus or provide a weekly negative coronavirus test.

A letter to Biden from the 24 state attorneys general, signed onto by New Hampshire’s attorney general, John Formella, says to the president, “You have offered the American people flimsy legal arguments, contradictory statements and threatening directives. It is almost as if your goal is to sow division and distrust, rather than promote unity and the public’s health,” according to WMUR.
