New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu Tells Bay Staters To Stay In Massachusetts

Massachusetts residents are visiting New Hampshire despite the coronavirus pandemic.

New Hampshire’s Republican Governor Chris Sununu would prefer they don’t.

“Stay local,” he said in a recent press conference, according to MSN. “We have a stay-at-home order in place here. Massachusetts has one in there.”

“That’s where they are and that’s where they should stay,” he added. “We’re just not at a position yet to start overly encouraging folks from out of state to come up and partake.”

Previously, Sununu has said one of the biggest threats to safety in his state in terms of spreading coronavirus is visitors from Massachusetts, which has one of the highest rates of coronavirus cases in the country.
