New Hampshire’s Trump-Supporting Governor Tells Rally Attendees: Wear A Mask

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu is a supporter of Donald Trump, but the Republican has one request for people who attend the president’s rally in Portsmouth on Saturday:  wear a mask.

“It’s imperative that folks attending the rally wear masks,” Sununu said, according to FOX News. 

The Trump campaign is expected to hand out masks and provide hand sanitizer for rally attendees at the event, which is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Campaign officials reportedly said that they strongly encourage all attendees to wear the mask.

Trump lost New Hampshire by fewer than 3,000 votes in the 2016 presidential election. He hopes to be the first Republican since George W. Bush in 2000 to win the state.
