Danvers Library To Host ‘Pride’ Event With Drag Queen Story Hour

A drag queen story hour is among the events planned at the public library in Danvers during a “Community Celebration” for Pride Month on Thursday, June 1.

The celebration is scheduled to begin with flag raisings at the Danvers Police Department and Danvers Town Hall, followed by a “Pride Party” on the library lawn.

NewBostonPost contacted a spokesman for the library but did not receive a response by deadline.

The formal name of the public library in the town is  Peabody Institute Library of Danvers.
