Poll Says College Students Want Elizabeth Warren To Be Joe Biden’s Running Mate

If college students had it their way, Joe Biden would not pick a racial-minority woman as his running mate.

Rather, they would choose Massachusetts U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, according to a recent poll put out by Axios.

Warren was the favorite candidate, earning 28 percent support.

Warren topped California U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, who got 19 percent support.

Other names that got at least double-digit support include former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (13 percent) and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (11 percent).

The poll surveyed 854 college students and has a margin of error of 3.5 points.
