Rhode Island Limits Some Social Gatherings To 15 People

August 1, 2020

Rhode Island’s coronavirus response has gotten a little stricter, following an order from the state’s Democratic governor, Gina Raimondo.

This week, she announced a reduction in the amount of people allowed at social gatherings in the state, including house parties and backyard barbecues. She reduced the total from 25 people to 15.

Other crowd limit standards remain unchanged. For example indoor weddings can have up to 50 people and outdoor weddings can have up to 100.
