Riley Gaines Unhappy That Transgender Athlete May Win Girls’ Track State Championship In New Hampshire This Weekend

February 8, 2024

Riley Gaines is not happy that a male transgender athlete could win a girls’ track state championship in New Hampshire this upcoming weekend.

The former University of Kentucky women’s swimmer turned anti-transgender sports activist reacted to a NewBostonPost story on social media this week.

The article was about Kearsarge Regional High sophomore Maelle Jacques, who is likely to win the high jump at the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 state championship meet on Sunday, February 11.

“How could the parents of this boy allow their son to cheat deserving women out of opportunities?” Gaines posted on the platform widely known as Twitter. “And why don’t the parents of the girls stand up and say ‘no’ for their daughters? This country is full of failing, gutless mothers and fathers.”

The post from Gaines has over 27,000 likes so far.

New to NewBostonPost? Conservative media is hard to find in Massachusetts. But you’ve found it. Now dip your toe in the water for two bucks — $2 for two months. And join the real revolution.
