Seth Moulton Endorses Against Bill Galvin

June 2, 2022

U.S. Representative Seth Moulton (D-Salem) says he won’t be voting for Bill Galvin this September.

The congressman endorsed the incumbent Democratic Secretary of State’s challenger:  NAACP Boston president Tanisha Sullivan.

Moulton made the endorsement in a statement to Politico on Thursday morning, June 2.

“It’s a role where the status quo isn’t good enough for protecting and expanding access to the ballot box,” Moulton said in the written statement. “We must modernize the office of the Secretary of Commonwealth and I know Tanisha can help deliver the 21st century democracy we need today.”

The winner of that primary will likely face Whitman Republican Rayla Campbell in the November general election.
