Seth Moulton Says States With Rising Coronavirus Cases Are ‘Getting What Was Coming To ‘Em’

August 1, 2020

U.S. Representative Seth Moulton (D-Salem) has made his feelings clear about Republican-leaning states that opened up earlier and have subsequently seen an increase in coronavirus cases.

Apparently, Moulton doesn’t have much sympathy for them.

“We certainly have this perception in the Northeast that all the red states are, you know, they kind of — they’re getting what was coming to ’em because they refused to follow these mandates, and they’re playing politics with this rather than listening to the science,” Moulton told Kentucky U.S. Senate candidate Amy McGrath in an online conversation hosted by 92nd Street Y on Monday, July 27.

Both Moulton and McGrath, who is running against Republican U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, are former U.S. Marines.
