State House News Service Reporter Joining The Healey Administration
January 28, 2023
State House News Service reporter Matt Murphy will no longer be a journalist as of next week.
He plans to join Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey’s administration in the Executive Office for Administration & Finance.
“Personal news update After more than 20 years working in newsrooms, I’ll be starting next week as chief of communications and legislative affairs for @MassANF. Excited to get started on this next professional chapter,” Murphy tweeted.
“To everyone who has reached out over the past week with kind words and encouragement, I can’t thank you enough. It means more than you know as I make this career change. And to Sec. @MattGorzkowicz and everyone in the @maura_healey admin, thank you for the opportunity,” he added.
