Susan Collins Not Keen To Weigh In On 2020 Presidential Election

U.S. Senator Susan Collins of Maine does not appear likely to endorse President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.

Collins, a moderate Republican from a state Trump lost in 2016, did not endorse the president last time around. This time? Nothing has changed.

“My inclination is just to stay out of the presidential and focus on my own race,” Collins recently said, according to The Hill.

As for critiquing Joe Biden? Collins isn’t interested in that either. She knows the former vice president well from her tenure in the Senate.

“I do not campaign against my colleagues in the Senate,” she said, according to The Hill.
