Susan Collins Wants Donald Trump To Get His Twitter Back

Should President Donald Trump get his Twitter account back now that Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk is buying the web site?

U.S. Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine), who is not a fan of the former president, says yes.

“Although I obviously don’t agree with a lot of President Trump’s tweets, I do think he should have his account back,” Collins told HuffPost

Trump was banned from Twitter after the January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill riot. Trump used the social media platform to post claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged.

Earlier this year, Trump launched a social media platform of his own called Truth Social, but has not posted on it yet.
