Trump and Biden Dominate Connecticut Presidential Primary

April 3, 2024

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump dominated the 2024 presidential primary in Connecticut on Tuesday.

Biden had 84.8 percent of the vote with 95 percent of the vote counted, according to The Associated Press. Uncommitted was the next highest vote-getter on the Democratic side, with 11.5 percent of the vote. No Democratic candidate other than Biden even cracked 3 percent support.

Meanwhile, Trump had 77.9 percent of the vote with 95 percent of the votes counted. This put him far ahead of former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley, who had 13.9 percent; Haley dropped out of the race last month.
