Trump Expected To Hold New Hampshire Rally Next Month

July 25, 2020

President Donald Trump could have a rally in New Hampshire next month, even though his Portsmouth rally got cancelled due to rain.

It’s still expected to happen at some point, as Fox News reports.  Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh reportedly said that the event will “be rescheduled and a new date will be announced soon.”

It’s something that Trump campaign advisor Corey Lewandowski also touched on recently.

Lewandowski said on a New Hampshire radio talk show (New Hampshire Today with Jack Heath) that “we are committed to coming back to New Hampshire. That’s a thousand. … I’ve talked to the president a lot about it. He absolutely wants to be there. We’ve got to look at his travel schedule but I am very, very hopeful – and it’s not my final decision – but we have the president here by mid-August, yes.”

Lewandowski said an indoor venue in Amherst or Milford might be a better option than the military base in Portsmouth where the president was scheduled to speak, in case of bad weather.
