Trump To Hold New Hampshire Event This Friday

August 24, 2020

President Donald Trump expects to campaign in the Granite State later this week.

The president is supposed to deliver a speech in Manchester, New Hampshire on Friday, August 28 at PeriCohas Hanger, located at the Manchester airport. Trump is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m., although doors will open at 3 p.m., according to WMUR-TV Channel 9.

Everyone in attendance must wear a mask, in compliance with New Hampshire rules; this is a requirement for gatherings exceeding 100 people in the state.

Previously, Trump was supposed to have an event on July 11 in New Hampshire, but cancelled it due to impending weather. The forecast showed a tropical storm coming that day.

Later in July, Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski said the president would come to New Hampshire in August, and that organizers were looking for an indoor venue so that bad weather wouldn’t affect it.

President Trump lost New Hampshire in 2016 by about 3,100 votes.
