Western Massachusetts Pickleball Tournament To Raise Money For Food Bank

A Western Massachusetts food bank is planning to hold a pickleball tournament fund-raiser next month.

Berkshire Bounty is scheduled hold a tournament on Saturday, September 21 at the Kilpatrick Athletic Center Courts at Bard College in Great Barrington, a town in western Massachusetts, according to The Berkshire Eagle. A rain date is set (if needed) for Saturday, September 28.

The organization welcomes players of all levels and has 32 spots available for teams of two. Players must sign up together.

The tournament will separate players by skill level — beginner, intermediate, and advanced — and offer prizes to the winners in each division. 

The entry fee is $100 per team; it is tax deductible. 

People have until Sunday, September 1 to register for the tournament.
