Inside the Sexual Harassment Process of Congress, With John Conyers

U. S. Representative John Conyers, 88, a Democrat from Michigan, has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women who formerly worked on his staff. BuzzFeed has a story about a particular case with documents showing the process Congress uses to secretly settle such cases using public funds, with the following statement from a spokesman for the Office of Compliance, which handles the process:  “Pursuant to the Congressional Accountability Act, the OOC cannot comment on whether matters have or have not been filed with the office.”
