Mount Washington Posts Second-Earliest Below-Zero-High Day

Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in New England and known for extreme weather, never got higher than -4 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday, November 14.

It’s the second earliest sub-zero day in the mountain’s history since 1948, according to the National Weather Service.
