Maura Healey Approval Rating At 59 Percent As Governor of Massachusetts, Poll Finds

April 22, 2024

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has a positive approval rating, according to a new Morning Consult poll.

The poll looked at the approval ratings of governors across the country and found that 59 percent of Bay Staters approve of the incumbent Democrat, while 28 percent disapprove; 13 percent didn’t know what they thought of Healey’s job performance.

In this poll, Healey was less popular than her predecessor, Charlie Baker, a Republican, usually was in Morning Consult polls when he was governor. Baker often had approval ratings exceeding 70 percent in these polls.

Healey was elected governor in November 2022 and is currently serving her first term.
