June 19, 2020

The latest poll for the 2020 presidential election in New Hampshire favors former Vice President Joe Biden, but it’s not a runaway.

A Saint Anselm College poll released on Thursday evening gave Biden a 49-42 edge over incumbent President Donald Trump, as Fox News reports.

According to the poll, a majority of New Hampshire voters have an unfavorable view of both President Trump and Biden. It shows 43 percent of Granite Staters seeing Trump favorably compared to 57 percent who do not. For Biden, it was 47 percent favorable and 52 percent unfavorable.

The poll was conducted between Saturday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 16. It surveyed 1,072 registered New Hampshire voters via telephone and has a 3-point margin of error.
