David Hogg Organizing Gun Control Rally In Massachusetts

Gun control activist and Harvard College student David Hogg wants people to protest in favor of gun control in Boston this week.

Hogg is organizing a gun control rally scheduled for Friday, February 24 on Boston Common.

“ATTENTION BOSTON STUDENTS:  Tired of living with the constant threat of gun violence?” Hogg tweeted. “We’re doing something about it and rallying to demand stronger gun laws. Show up at Boston Common 2/24 at 3 pm. Massachusetts has the lowest gun death rate but it’s still not zero. Let fix it.”

Hogg rose to prominence as a gun control activist following the mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018; Hogg was a student at the school at the time.
