New Hampshire Man Indicted On Second Degree Murder Count In Death of Pregnant Girlfriend’s Unborn Baby

A 38-year-old New Hampshire man charged with killing his pregnant live-in girlfriend has been indicted on two second-degree murder charges – the woman and the unborn baby.

A Carroll County grand jury indicted the man, William Kelly, of Ossipee, New Hampshire.

The deceased are Christine Falzone and her unborn child who was about 35 to 37 weeks along, according to a press release from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office quoted by MassLive.

Prosecutors initially charged Kelly with second degree murder of his girlfriend, who died December 17, 2023, but they added the second murder charge recently when they determined that the girlfriend’s death was “the proximate cause” of the unborn child’s death, according to the story.
