High End Chocolate would cultivate marijuana, infuse chocolate with it, and sell the product in Holyoke, Massachusetts, where Mayor Alex B. Morse has embraced cannabis as a means to revitalize the down-at-the-heels old mill town. Helen Gomez Andrews of Brooklyn, New York made a pitch for the proposed business before the Holyoke City Council on Tuesday night; she has experience working for financial institutions Morgan Stanley, Barclays, and Lehman Brothers, and her husband runs a restaurant in New York City, according to MassLive.com.
